Ἁγιορείτης μοναχός, ὑπηρέτησε τήν Σερβική Μονή Χιλανδαρίου σάν Ἡγούμενος, ἀπό ὅπου ἀναδείχθηκε Ἐπίσκοπος Πριζρένης. Τό 1309 διαδέχθηκε στόν Ἀρχιεπισκοπικό Θρόνο τῆς Σερβίας τόν Ἀρχιεπίσκοπο Εὐστάθιο Β’. Μέ θεολογική κατάρτιση, ἡσυχαστικό πνεῦμα καί ἰδιαιτέρως εὐλαβής, ὑπηρέτησε τήν Σερβική Ἐκκλησία μέχρι τήν κοίμησή του, τό 1316.
