Ο Όσιος Σεβαστιανός του Ποσεσόνε γεννήθηκε και έζησε στη Ρωσία κατά τα τέλη του 15ου και τις αρχές του 16ου αιώνα μ.Χ. Εκάρη μοναχός σε ένα μοναστήρι στην περιοχή του Σοχότ, κοντά στην πόλη Ρομάνοβο και κοιμήθηκε με ειρήνη.
