Ο Άγιος Πέτρος καταγόταν από την Ανία (ή Ανέα) της Ελευθερούπολης και διακρινόταν για το δυνατό σώμα του αλλά και για την ανδρεία ψυχή του. Αφού υπέφερε πολλά για την πίστη του στον Χριστό, τελικά το έτος 292 μ.Χ., επί βασιλείας Διοκλητιανού, μετά από πολλά βασανιστήρια, κάηκε ζωντανός από τους ειδωλολάτρες, παίρνοντας έτσι το άφθαρτο στεφάνι του μαρτυρίου.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week

- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
