Ο Άγιος Λεόντιος αναφέρεται στον βίο των Αγίων Ιουλιανού και Καισαρίου που τιμούνται την ίδια ημέρα. Είναι ο άνθρωπος που πίστεψε, βλέποντας το θαύμα του Ιησού Χριστού, που συνέτριψε τα είδωλα μετά από προσευχή του Καισάριου.
