Στους Συναξαριστές ονομάζονται νεοφανείς Άγιοι και μαρτύρησαν επί Κωνσταντίνου του Κοπρώνυμου. Απ' αυτούς ο Ανδρέας ήταν μοναχός από την Κρήτη και αφού έλεγξε τον Κοπρώνυμο αποκεφαλίστηκε και τάφηκε «ἐν τὴ Κρίσει» (βλέπε 17 Οκτωβρίου). Οι δε υπόλοιποι τρεις, μάλλον μοναχοί και αυτοί, αφού υπερασπίστηκαν με σθένος τους ορθόδοξους Ιερούς κανόνες, αποκεφαλίστηκαν από τον Κοπρώνυμο.
