Δὲν ὑπάρχουν ἐπαρκεῖς ἁγιολογικὲς πληροφορίες γιὰ τὸν Ἅγιο Ἱερομάρτυρα Θεόδωρο, Ἐπίσκοπος Βρσὰκ στὴν περιοχὴ τῆς βόρειας Σερβίας. Ἔζησε τὸν 16ο αἰώνα μ.Χ. καὶ τὸ 1593 ἀναφέρεται ὡς Ἐπίσκοπος καὶ πνευματικὸς ἡγέτης τοῦ λαοῦ του, ποὺ ἀγωνιζόταν κατὰ τῶν Τούρκων. Γιὰ νὰ διασώσει τὸ ποίμνιό του ἀπὸ τὴν σφαγή, τὸ ὁδήγησε πρὸς τὴν Οὐγγαρία. Μετὰ τὴν ὑπογραφὴ εἰρήνης μὲ τοὺς Τούρκους ἐπέστρεψε καὶ πάλι στὸ Βρσάκ, ὅπου συνελήφθη, βασανίσθηκε ἀνηλεῶς καὶ τὸν ἔγδαραν ζωντανό. Ἔτσι ὁ Ἅγιος Ἱερομάρτυς Θεόδωρος, μὲ τὸ μαρτύριό του, εἰσῆλθε στὴν χαρὰ τοῦ Κυρίου του καὶ τὴ Βασιλεία τοῦ Θεοῦ.
