Στους Συναξαριστές δεν υπάρχουν βιογραφικά του στοιχεία. Από άλλου όμως γνωρίζουμε, ότι έζησε το δεύτερο μισό του 5ου αιώνα, έγραψε σύγγραμμα κατά των δογμάτων του Ωριγένη, το όποιο χάθηκε και διασώθηκαν λίγα μόνο τεμάχιά του. Επίσης έχουμε και δύο λόγους του, στον Ευαγγελισμό και στον Βαπτιστή Ιωάννη. Ο Αντίπατρος απεβίωσε ειρηνικά.
