Οι Άγιοι Βάπτος (ή Δαύκτος) και Πορφύριος ήταν από τους στρατιώτες, που βασάνισαν μετά από διαταγή του έπαρχου τον Άγιο Χαράλαμπο (βλέπε 10 Φεβρουαρίου). Επειδή όμως στις καρδιές τους υπήρχε ευσεβής διάθεση, ο Θεός τους έφερε στο δρόμο της σωτηρίας. Η ηθική λάμψη, που καταύγαζε τον μάρτυρα, φώτισε την ψυχή τους και την έκανε να πιστέψει στην αλήθεια του Χριστού. Έτσι, αφού πέταξαν τα όργανα των βασανιστηρίων, έπεσαν στα πόδια του Αγίου και του ζητούσαν συγχώρηση. Η φανερή αυτή ενέργεια τους υπέρ της χριστιανικής πίστης, κίνησε εναντίον τους τη μανία του έπαρχου, με αποτέλεσμα να αποκεφαλιστούν επί τόπου και να πάρουν έτσι το αιώνιο στεφάνι του μαρτυρίου.

- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
