Pyhät marttyyrit Drosis, Agalida, Apollinaria, Daria, Mamthusa ja Thais ottivat tehtäväkseen haudata keisari Trajanuksen vainoissa kuolleita kristittyjä. Drosis oli Trajanuksen tytär ja salaa kristitty, joka ei ollut ottanut vielä kastetta. Trajanuksen sotilaat ottivat kiinni kristittyjen hautaajia ja viisikko jäi kiinni. Trajanus piti Drosiksen erillään, toivoen, että hän saisi tämän vielä muuttamaan mielensä. Muut tuomittiin poltettavaksi kuparisulattamossa.
