Amorion 42 marttyyria: Theodoros, Konstantinos, Kallistos, Theofilos, Basoes ja kanssakilvoittelijat joutuivat vangiksi Bysantin ja saraseenien välisessä sodassa vuosina 829-242. He olivat bysanttilaisia upseereita, jotka puolustivat Amorion kaupunkia Fryygiassa. Kaupungin kukistuttua he olivat vangittuina Syyriassa seitsemän vuotta, jonka aikana heitä yritettiin käännyttää islamiin kiduttamalla. Kun he eivät kääntyneet, heidät mestattiin.
