San Diomedes (Diomedes) de Tarso (m. entre 298 y 311 dC) es venerado como un cristiano santo y mártir , uno de los Unmercenaries Santos . Nacido en Tarso , que era un médico de profesión. Él era un cristiano ferviente evangelista y fue arrestado y decapitado bajo Diocleciano en Nicea . Una fuente afirma: "Se dice que cuando su cabeza fue llevada ante el emperador, que todos estaban cegados, y sólo después de que su cuerpo ha sido devuelto y oraban había, era recuperar la visión".
