Los mártires Victoria (Niké), Leónidas, Hariessa, Galina, Basilissa, Calisa, Nunexia y Teodora fueron martirizados durante las persecuciones a los cristianos decretados por el emperador Decio (años 249-251) en Corinto, Grecia. Los paganos los tiraron al mar, pero ellos no se ahogaron sino caminaron sobre el agua como sí fuera tierra firme. Los martirizadores los alcanzaron con el barco, les colgaron piedras sobre el cuello y los ahogaron. Sucedió alrededor del año 251.
