El Santo Mártir Sabino era de Hermopolis en Egipto, y fue público su dedicación a la iglesia y su piedad. Durante la persecución de Dioclesiano , él se ocultó con otros cristianos en una morada pequeña fuera de la ciudad. Pero luego de un tiempo lo capturaron y procesaron por su fe en Cristo. El Mártir fue encarcelado por el Gobernador arriano y luego de ser atormentado fue ahogado en el río en el Año 287.
