Geboren in Aetoliea, lebte er als Mönch im Philotheisechen Kloster auf dem Athos. Zum Priestermönchen geweiht, verkündete er das Evangelium zu Konstantinopel, auf dem Berg Athos, in Macedonien, Chimara, Akarsanien, Aetolien; er vollendete seine apostolische Wirksamkeit mit dem Märtyrertod in Albanien.
