Die heilige Märtyrerin und Jungfrau Ennatha stammte aus Gasa, und die heilige Valentina stammte aus Käsaria, in Palästina. Sie beide wurden als Christinnen verurteilt und enthauptet, unter Hegemon Firmilianos und unter dem röm. Kaiser Maximmianus (305-311). Der hl. Paulos, welche die Leiden des Martyriums der hll. Frauen sah, bekehrte sich zu Christus, und ward auch enthauptet, im Jahre 308.
