Die heiligen Jasson und Sosipatr waren aus der Schar der 70 Apostel. Sie wurden in der Stadt Tarsos in Achaja geboren, und waren Verwandte des hl. Apostel Paul (Apostelbrief an Römer, Kap. 16, 21). Vom hl. Apostel Paul wurden sie auch zu Bischöfe eingesetzt: der hl. Jasson in Tarsos und der hl. Sosipatr in Ikonien. Desweiteren begründeten die Heiligen die Kirche Christi in Korfu. Als christliche Prediger im Gewahrsam genommen, bekehrten sie noch sieben Menschen, welche mit den Heiligen auch zum Martertod verurteilt wurden. Eine von ihnen war die hl. Märtyrerin Kerkyra, die Tochter des Statthalters, welche im Rauch und mit einem Speer getötet werde. Später bekehrten die hl. Apostel den Statthalter selbst zum Christentum.

- To do good application for desktop computers ...
