Die hl. Märtyrerin Theodora, die Jungfrau, wegen ihrer Verweigerung, Christus zu verleumden, wurde in ein der Unzucht gewidmetes Haus gebracht. Didimos, auch ein Christ, hat sie befreit, indem er dasselbe Haus betrat und die Jungfrau besuchte, und gab ihr seine Kleidung. Nachdem die Jungfrau Theodora entkommen war, hat man den hl. Didimos enthauptet. Später erlag auch die hl. Theodora denselben Martertod, im Jahre 304, in Alexandria.
