Er war Novize bei einem Greise (Starez) des einstigen watopädischen Skit (kleines Kloster) namens Kolitza. Von den Sarazenen gefangen genommen, war er auf wunderbare weise aus der Sklaverei befreit. Er kehrte aber auf Anordnung seines Starzen freiwillig zu den Sarazenen zurück, welcher so gerührt wurde, dass er mit seinen Söhnen sich taufen ließ, und das Mönchtum annahm. Sie alle führten monastisches Leben und starben friedlich auf dem Berge Athos.

- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
