阿布达是苏萨市的主教。他于公元418 年为基督的缘故在波斯遭到了耶泽吉尔德王的斩首。阿布达的辅祭圣文雅敏被释放，条件是，他不许再传讲福音。起初他同意了，但是文雅敏在心中却不能承受这些，在人们当中又讲开了基督的真道。由此，文雅敏在圣阿布达被斩首3 年之后遭到了同样的酷刑，即公元421 年。
