多罗斯达是皇帝图拉真的女儿。当她同其他五名妇女收敛为基督殉道的人的尸体时遭到了逮捕。由此，皇帝将她毁容。这五名妇女遭受了极端残暴的折磨，最后，她们被投入到一个装有黄铜溶液的大缸里致死。多罗斯达则处在皇帝的严格监控之下。多罗斯达后来逃离了皇宫，在一个河中接受了浸礼。八天过后，她婚归天国。
