路喀出生于卡斯托利亚。从幼年时，路喀就不爱吃肉，并引导自己的生活趋向圣洁，并进行祷告。有一次，他去田里播种小麦，但是在路上，他却将大部分小麦种都分给了穷人，他只留下了一小部分，并将这部分种子播种到田里。用这很少的种子，上帝使他获得了一个意想不到的大丰收。之后，路喀离开了他寡居的母亲，进入了一座修道院。伤心的母亲虔诚地祷告上帝，他的儿子身在何处。上帝听到了这位母亲的祷告。修道院院长一连3 个晚上都梦见了一名妇女严厉地指责他，因为他带走了她唯一的儿子。之后，修道院院长命令路喀立即回到母亲的身边。路喀回到了家里，看望了他的母亲，之后，又离开了，一去不回。他去了科林托附近的约安尼萨山。晚上，他向上帝祷告；白天，他在园子里或是田间劳作，他不是为了他自己，而是为了周济穷人和来访者。但是路喀自己却只食大麦面包充饥。上帝赐予他施行奇迹的能力。路喀于公元946 年安然离世，从他的圣髑中不时会流出没药。

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week
- To supplement existing content
- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
