帕科米乌斯出生于小俄罗斯。帕科米乌斯年幼时被鞑靼人抓获，将他卖给了一个土耳其皮毛商为奴隶。帕科米乌斯在小亚细亚的乌萨基镇渡过了27年的奴隶生活，并被迫成为穆斯林。帕科米乌斯来到了圣山阿托斯，接受剪发礼成为一名修士，在圣帕弗罗修道院渡过了12年的时光。帕科米乌斯决定为基督殉道。帕科米乌斯在他的神父约熙福长老的陪同下来到了乌萨基，在那里，帕科米乌斯身穿修士衣装在他原来的主人面前表白了自己是基督徒。由此，土耳其人开始对他进行折磨，将他投入到监狱中，并于公元1730年5月8日主升天节这一天将其斩首。帕科米乌斯的鲜血和圣髑曾经出现过多次奇迹。帕科米乌斯被安葬在帕特摩斯岛的神学家圣约安教堂内。由此，这位小俄罗斯人成了基督的殉道者，由此得到了基督国度永恒的冠冕。
