露西被蛮人皇帝奥斯蒂乌斯劫持到坎帕尼亚。皇帝欲望使露西做他的小老婆，但是遭到了露西的拒绝。最后皇帝给予她平安的生活，由此露西得以过上禁欲修行生活。露西甚至皈依皇帝相信基督，因为通过她的祷告皇帝在战场上获得了胜利。最后，露西同皇帝一同为基督信仰而殉道，时间为公元300年，地点为罗马。
