圣蒂孔是显行灵迹者。在有福的摩内摩纽斯去世之后，蒂孔由有名望埃皮凡纽斯按立为阿马图斯的主教。他的圣洁生活以及对东正教的热忱使他成为主教。当时在塞浦路斯仍有很多异教徒。圣蒂孔带着使徒般的热忱将异教徒皈依为基督徒。他获得了极大的成功。在主的葡萄园中进行漫长的劳作之后蒂孔于公元425年进入了有福的永生。他被称为奇迹的创造者是因为在他在世时曾经创造过很多奇迹。蒂孔的父亲以做面包为生。当只有蒂孔在面包店中时，他将面包免费送给穷人。有一次他的父亲指责他这样作。蒂孔于是向上帝祷告，于是他们的谷仓里装满了小麦，打开门都很费力。另有一次，他将枯萎的葡萄藤植入地里，葡萄藤变绿了，到了收获季节时结出了不少葡萄。
