君士坦丁出生于米特伦岛，父母都是穆斯林。在看到教堂的圣水治愈了很多病人，并见证了其他基督信仰的神迹之后，君士坦丁在阿托斯圣山的卡帕索卡里维亚小修道院接受了浸礼。之后，君士坦丁落入了土耳其人的手中，在经过了40 天的残酷折磨之后，君士坦丁于公元1819 年6 月2 日在君士坦丁堡被土耳其人吊死。
