Празнуваме паметта на светите мъченици Еввентий (Ювентин) и Максим. Те бяха воини - оръженосци при Юлиан Отстъпник. Когато беззаконният император ги изправи на съд пред себе си, те го изобличиха за неговото отстъпничество от Бога и изповядаха вярата си в Христа. Тогава по заповед на Юлиан дълго ги измъчваха и накрая ги убиха с меч. По-подробно разказът за тях е изложен на 5 септември.
