Пореклом Грк из Пелопонеза. Подвизавао се у манастиру Дионисијату шездесет година и преставио се 1605. године будући осамдесет пет година од рођења. За овога светитеља каже се, да је само једном ушао у манастир и само једном изишао из манастира за пуних шездесет година. Наиме, ушао је онда када је први пут ступио у манастир Дионисијат, а изашао је онда када су га мртва изнели да сахране. Имао је чудесан дар прозорљивости и прорицања, а по смрти из његових моштију потекло је миро.
