Dëshmor i madh Pandeleimoni U ushtrua rreth vitit 305 në vendlindjen e tij, Nikomedia, në bregdetin aziatik të Propondidës. Pandeleimon, siç quhej, ishte një mjek i dalluar, fryt i idhujtarit Efstorgi dhe e shën Evulës (30 mars), që ishte e krishterë nga paraardhësit e saj, por që vdiq herët.
