Aceasta sfînta Elena a fost marea Cneaghina rusa, sotia Cneazului Igor, care înainte de botezul ei s-a numit Olga. Ea a luat Sfîntul Botez din mîinile Patriarhului Polieuct al Constantinopolului, si a ars de rîvna pentru Sfînta Credinta Ortodoxa si raspîndirea ei în Rusia. Ea s-a odihnit cu pace la anul 969.
