Les Hiéromartyrs Marcellus, Philagrios et Pancrace furent disciples du saint Apôtre Pierre, qui les établit épiscopes. Saint Marcellus, de Sicile, Philagrios, de Chypre, et Pancrace, de Taormina. Ils furent mis à mort pour avoir répandu la Foi en Christ parmi les païens.
