Der ehrwürdige Eusebios war syrische Einsiedler, und wirkte bei dem Dorf Asichi. Dort lebte er über 90 Jahre als Asket unter strengsten Bedingungen: niemals wohnte er unterm Dach, und als Speise hatte er lediglich Bohnen. In hohem Alter trat er trat in ein Kloster. Er starb nach 400.
